Drawing on a lifetime of experience working in the Irish Beef Industry and a passion for improvement, Gemma specializes in providing consultancy & training to optimize business performance and deliver sustainable tailor-made solutions.

Gemma has been with The Leading-Edge Group since 2019 and prior to that built up more than 20 years’ experience working in the Irish food Industry in a variety of senior management roles across sales, commercial and supply chain functions. She is an advocate of Lean and Six Sigma having led and mentored people on a variety of successful organizational change projects and holds a Lean Black Belt.

Gemma has a proven track record in value creation, margin optimization and supply chain transformation. When working with clients, her philosophy is to take a personalized, solutions driven approach focused on providing mentoring and support to drive continuous improvement.

Gemma has a BSc. Food Business (UCC), an MComm. in Lean Supply Chain Management (UCC) and a NUI L7 certificate in training and continuing education (NUI Maynooth)

In her work as a Lean/Supply Chain Management consultant Gemma has supported several large transformation programs across food & drink and other sectors.
