Steve is an experienced Lean and change management expert with the Leading Edge Group. He has a wealth of experience not only in coaching, training and leadership in the financial sector, but through Lean, Agile and digitalization has ensured his knowledge of design, development and delivery has remained relevant.

His ability to deliver on change programs across a variety of sectors (i.e., financial, insurance, and retail) has given Steve a unique perspective on how theory is connected to the realities of business, and meeting customer driven demand. This is supported by his business acumen gained in operations, marketing and as head of commercial areas in Lloyds Bank, Bank of New Zealand and Mashreq Bank, where for the last 10+ years he has worked as a change professional.

He truly has a global understanding of the issues faced, having worked and trained in the UK, UAE, New Zealand, and Qatar.

During his time as head of Lean Agile with Mashreq Bank he presented on varied topics related to how organizations can develop and deliver on client-driven strategies to tactical and operational levels. He has also created and delivered interactive and tailored training across Lean, Agile and change related subjects. His goal was to embed knowledge from basic levels for new staff to the c-suite executives, culminating in the design and roll out of ‘Mashreq’ Lean Agile certificate programs, and online training for all new bank staff.

Due to the success at Mashreq, Steve extended his consultancy and training to other parts of the Al Ghurair group (Oman Insurance, Masafi Water) to build Lean Agile and Change programs within these organizations.
