We would like to congratulate Donal Sheehan on being honoured for Sustainable Agriculture excellence at the Cork Environmental Forum (CFE) Award ceremony in Cork this week. Donal is a 70 cow herd dairy farmer from Castlelyons, Cork and supplies Glanbia on a 100% spring calving herd.
Donal is being recognised for his work in ensuring and improving habitats for wildlife and increasing diversity on his farm. He strongly believes that farmers should be rewarded for delivering on biodiversity. Donal’s Farm is part of our European Innovation Partnership submission for adopting Lean principles across the dairy farm sector in Ireland.
Joe qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in 1982. It was a decision that reaped great benefits for Joe, providing him with an international recognized qualification which allowed him to follow in his father and grandfathers’ footsteps who had both worked and lived abroad. Having qualified as a CPA, Joe took up financial positions in the Middle East and UK.
